Polar Weather

The polar vortex came to visit.  We are not used to truly cold weather.  We did not believe the weather man when he said the temperature would not get above freezing.  But he was right.  Moms car had icicles on it when she left work, and the yard has ice, cold water, and icicles.  Going outside is not fun.  We want our summer back.

Hey mom-can I have a litter box?  My toes can't handle the cold!

By the way, the weather channel lied.  The temperature stayed 29F all day.  Our local guys got it right.

  1. Hope you get that litter box Lightning! Yes, it's too cold to go out there!

  2. Yep, you need a litter box, either that or some extra thick walky boots to go outside in. Don't forget to hold your front paw up, you have to make a statement here about going out in the cold. They will give in, cos your worth it.

  3. I woke up at 0600 Friday morning. My Yahoo Weather app said is was 3 degrees in Cape Girardeau, MO, colder than my towns in MT, SD, MN, GA, and Washington, DC. Today we have sun and relative warmth for the weekend....this, too, shall pass :).

  6. You probably don't even have decent clothing for those temps. And now it's getting cold again.

Luckily, I don't think the next snow storm is supposed to reach as far south.

    But spring is coming.

I've been a stranger in these parts of Blogville--again!!--it feels so good to be back!! ;-D
It has been well over one month since you last posted on this Blog!! I am missing Lightning and Thumper!! And you!! Life has been seemingly busy for me lately. I wrote a fictional children’s story for March which was posted on my Blog, "Minuscule is good!". We have been watching my two-year old niece, "Amethyst", twice a week. How are you, Friend? ;op
