Spring Photo Shoot

It's been so long since I last posted about about the polar vortex visiting us that it is now spring.  Thank Goodness!!  Complaining about the heat and humidity is just a few weeks away....lol.

I took advantage of a beautiful day to get some new pics of the pups.  Thumper is always a good sport and gives me plenty of photo ops, but Lightning is like a sulky teenager and must be bribed to cooperate.

Please enjoy.  I haven't had the drive to blog much lately, but I have enjoyed reading a lot of yours.

If you don't mind, let me know what your favorite picture is in the comments and why.  Photography is a hobby I've been trying to get back in to, and I'd really appreciate some comments about what works.

Thanks for stopping by!

Is that a LIZARD?!?

Azaleas - did you know that they have a scent?  I didn't until I smelled them today.

Oh crap she's got the camera.
I am NOT going to look at the camera....
I will - Take my picture!

Yes, he's got some gray starting to show on his face.  He seems too young for that, but he's still a puppy at heart.

I am NOT going to look at the camera.....

I am NOT going to look at the camera.....

Did you say "inside"?  Is this torture over?  Really?

This is my serious face....now can I go inside?
And I'm certain I've earned a milk bone for this.
***sigh***
Now I have to go inside.
I really being outside better.
Guess I'll make the best of it and take a nap.

    1. Thank you, Raelyn. Spring has been nice this year, though a little later than usual. The flowers have been beautiful!

  2. Sam started graying when he was 5 - and we are noticing Monty doing the same thing. TOOOOO young....

I like photo #1 - but that might just be my preference. I always love to see photos of pups with flowers and plants.

    1. Thumper is around 5, by our best guess. I like photo #1 too. Those bushes are one of his favorite places to hangout.

  4. THe best photo is the "did you say inside?" one. I am going to study it because when momma looked at your expression she tried to feed a cookie to the computer.

Oh, and you know what? My momma will be complaining about the heat soon too. It's just the way humans roll.

    Kisses,
    Dexter

  5. My favorites are the ones where they wont look at the camera. My sister Daisy is like that and we have literally no photos of her looking at the camera - she is skilled that way. I also want to mention about the effect you did in your photos where you focused on the middle subject and blurred other objects around it. I Wish I knew how you professionals do that... very nice and cool looking.
