Monday Mischief - Lightning's Day

Thumper is VERY toy driven. Stuffies to fight with and unstuff or balls etc to fetch. He's not picky. In a pinch, paper is a great substitute. Lightning is just the opposite. Maybe it's age, or maybe it's mischief. His idea of a toy, now, is Thumper's heels. Thumper runs to fetch, and Lightning chases him and chomps on his heel. It's a sneaky move. So this Monday Mischief is dedicated to Lightning, who is normally not my mischief maker. Have a great Monday (is that even possible????). :)

  1. Sherri....
Lighning must be part herding dog!! Just a hunch!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... Plus Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

  2. We're thinking herding dog too! The ACDs love to grab each the back legs (hence the term heelers) and when blind Breeze was a little puppy she had open sores on both legs from the others grabbing her all the time. Blind or sighted or deaf, they all grab each other like that, all the time!

  3. You know what that means? You never have to spend a dollar buying toys for Lightning. Like the others said, might be a herding instinct. I hope Thumper is patient ;)
